Timothy is recognised for his expertise in transport law and international commercial law being particularly reputed for his experience in maritime law and international trade law, advising traders, shipowners, charterers and financial institutions on all issues arising in these areas.
He intervenes on large-scale cross-border transactions in the shipping, aviation, logistics and international trade sectors and has extensive experience and a strong reputation in litigation, particularly in arbitration, before maritime chambers (LMAA and CAMP) or those specialising in commodities in both London and Paris, as well as before the High Court in London. He has sat as an ICC arbitrator and has acted as Counsel on numerous occasions in ICC and OHADA arbitrations .
Solicitor and a member of the Paris Bar, he is recognised as a “leading practitioner” in Maritime asset financing, and on numerous occasions as one of the “leading individuals” in its Shipping ranking by Legal 500EMEA.
