Patrick is a Partner at Stream. He joined the firm in 2005 as a trainee and graduated as Avocat in 2009. He holds a Master degree in shipping and transport law from the Aix-en-Provence / Marseille University and during his time with the firm, Patrick spent time on secondment with a leading cargo and hull / machinery insurer.
As a French avocat, Patrick provides advice on legal risks, he assists with settlement negotiations as well as providing legal representation in arbitration or before the civil, commercial, administrative, and criminal courts. He has a broad experience in resolving disputes arising out of contracts of carriage, freight forwarding, marine insurance and major damage to cargo or cargo pollution and deals with the legal and practical issues arising out of maritime and transport casualties. Patrick’s litigation experience also includes industrial risk and personal injury. Patrick recently graduated in mediation and he is working out to provide and increase mediation in shipping and transport cases.

Assisting cargo insurers following cargo contamination and destruction during several rail carriages and storage in silo;
Assisting Hull underwriter following an important casualty / fire aboard a passenger ship;
Assisting civil liability insurer of freight forwarder and road carrier;
Assisting sea carrier and P&I to defend against major cargo claims;
Assisting victims of personal injury and negotiations with person responsible for the accident and its insurer.
